Bobcat BIRT Cup to share profits with Boyd Stadium project

Brandon, MB (CKLQ) – The Investors Group Bobcat BIRT Cup this summer will be sharing a portion of their profits towards the Boyd Stadium project.
The annual golf tournament was founded ten years ago but was handed over to Brandon University this past year.
It has raised around $65,000 in the last five years, including close to $25,000 in 2017.
Boyd Stadium is currently being constructed at Simplot Millennium Park.
As well a newly established Bobcat BIRT Cup Athletic Scholarship Endowment and other local sporting groups will benefit from the funds raised.
The tournament will be held on July 13 at the Wheat City Golf Course.
