Brandon, MB (CKLQ) – The Brandon Bobcats men’s volleyball team managed to keep it close in every set, but lost in three sets to the Mount Royal Cougars.
The final scores of the night were, 25-23, 25-22 and 25-20.
The team now drops to 4-1 on the season, while the Cougars improve to 3-2.
Earlier in the night, the women’s team lost to the cougars in four sets, 25-20, 25-19, 23-25 and 25-18.
Nikala Majewski lead the team with 13 kills followed closely by Michelle Egger totaling 11.
The two teams will meet on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. CT in Calgary.
