Dear Baseball parents and players,
Due to current high winds and projected wind gusts from 70-90 km/h this evening, the BMBA has decided for parent and player safety that all events are cancelled for Wednesday May 24th.
This includes Mosquito A (2006s), Peewee Marlins, Peewee Cloverleafs, Rally Cap and Grand Slam.
All events will be rescheduled for Sunday June 11th beginning at the same times.
The Mosquito A practice will be moved to a date prior to June 10th, and the Peewee Royals are to decide with Strathclair whether or not they will move forward with their game.
This is the first cancellation in the 2017 season. There may be a similar announcement for tomorrow as wind gusts approaching 100 km/h have been forecast.
