Brandon Police respond to vehicle pedestrain collision

Driver of the vehicle was administered a breathalyzer


Brandon Police responded to a report of pedestrian being struck by a vehicle late Monday afternoon.

Around 4 p.m. BPS were called to the scene on the 1900 block of Richmond Avenue.

The pedestrian, a 43-year-old man, struck his head and required medical treatment for cuts and bruises.

The 35-year-old male driver was administered a breathalyzer and blew a reading within the legal limit.

An investigation is ongoing.
