Brandon, MB (CKLQ) -  A City of Brandon project that matches up volunteers with those who need help keeping their sidewalks clear is going into its' third year.

Heather Ewasiuk is Director of Legislative Services for the city.  She says its a free program that first ran as a pilot project in 2016

It's a purely volunteer program, and is limited to municipal sidewalks, not private property.

Ewasiuk says that clear residential sidewalks benefit everyone, and make services like mail and parcel delivery that much easy and safe.

To volunteer or request the service, you can call the City of Brandon at 204.729.2186, or visit snowangels.brandon.ca
