Canada Opens U18's With Win over Finland

Schneider, Hunt held off the scoresheet


Örnsköldsvik, Sweden (CKLQ) - Team Canada opened up the World U-18 Hockey Championship with a 5-3 win over Finland today. 

Moose Jaw Warrior forward Brayden Tracey scored twice for Canada who got 39 saves from Prince George Cougars netminder Taylor Gauthier. 

Wheat Kings defenseman Braden Schneider and Brandonite Daemon Hunt were held off the score-sheet. 

Canada takes on Switzerland on Friday morning.
