Portion of 9th Street has been made as a two-way street

Brandon, MB (CKLQ) - Some changes have been made for parking as the 000-block of 9th Street continues to be closed.

As of Friday, a portion of 9th Street has been made as a two-way street to allow for eastbound traffic on Rosser Avenue to safely enter and exit the TD Canada Trust parking lot. Three one-hour free parking stalls have also been configured near the corner of 9th Street and Rosser Avenue to accommodate patrons of the impacted businesses and properties on the east side of 9th Street.

Angled and parallel parking is also available to the north of the closure along 9th Street at Pacific Avenue. However, vehicles entering 9th Street via Pacific Avenue will be required to use the back lane to exit to Rosser Avenue.

The closure of the street has been in effect since last month, as they discovered faults in the facade at the McKenzie Seeds Building.
