Construction in Riding Mountain National Park to cause traffic delays

Over $3 Billion to be spent by Parks Canada over the next 5 years

Brandon, MB (CKLQ) - Parks Canada would like to advise travelers of road work will take place on Highway 10 throughout the remainder of this month. 

If you're travelling through the park expect single-lane alternating traffic, speed reductions in the construction zone and occasional delays up to 10 minutes near Moon Lake.

Speed restrictions will be in effect from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., seven days a week and throughout the holiday season.     

Parks Canada is investing an unprecedented $3 billion dollars over 5 years to support infrastructure work to heritage, visitor, waterway and highway assets located within national historic sites, national parks, and national marine conservation areas across Canada.

These investments represent the largest federal infrastructure plan in the history of Parks Canada.
