Brandon, MB (CKLQ) – The Assiniboine Community College Cougars women’s volleyball team upset the top team in Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference on Friday night.
The Cougars took down Canadian Mennonite University in four sets to hand the Blazers just their second loss of the season.
ACC got their fourth win of the year, and now sit 4-9, two points back of Red River for third in the league standings.
CMU still sits first place with a 11-2 record.
Meanwhile, the men’s team couldn’t get the same magic, as they lost in three sets to CMU.
Both teams will play rematches on Saturday afternoon.
