Brandon, MB (CKLQ) – After playing several seasons with the NHL’s Calgary Flames, former Brandon Wheat King Michael Ferland now plays in Carolina for the Hurricanes.
He spends parts of his summers teaching new skills to young hockey players during the Michael Ferland Hockey School.
Year two of the school will take place in Virden at Tundra Oil and Gas Place and registration is now open.
The camp runs from July 11-14 and is open to Novice, Atom, Peewee and Bantam aged players.
Ferland’s hockey school debuted in the summer of 2018 featuring guest instructors Ryan Pulock (New York Islanders) and Zack Whitecloud (Las Vegas Golden Knights) and sold out fast.
