Suspect had court order to not possess any weapons

Brandon, MB (CKLQ) - Police say they've arrested an Edmonton man after he was found to be acting suspicious at an establishment in the 1000 block of 18th Street.

They arrested the 23-year-old man just before 11:00 on Saturday night, and after conducting a search, found him in possession of several cocaine-filled baggies, as well as a folding knife - which was contrary to a court order stating he was not to have any weapons on him.

Police say he was taken into custody at Brandon Correctional Centre and released to appear in court Sunday morning.
