Edmonton man charged during drug bust

The 30-year-old gave police a false ID


Brandon, MB (CKLQ) - A 30-year-old Edmonton man is facing multiple charges after police say he was in possession of nine grams of cocaine.

Brandon Police say they stopped a vehicle on the 2300 Block of Rosser Avenue on Wednesday morning.

During the search, the man allegedly gave officers a false identification.

He is charged with drug possession, personation (changing your identity to deceive an officer) and public mischief.

He will be in court on Thursday.

Meanwhile the passenger of the vehicle, a 51-year-old Brandon woman, was arrested for drug trafficking.

She will be going to court in September.
