Brandon, MB (CKLQ) – There will be a new coach on the sidelines for the Brandon Bobcats women’s soccer team this upcoming season.
Assistant Coach Scott Haddow will take over head coaching duties for Rainer Schira.
Haddow has been the Bobcats assistant coach for the past four years.
Meanwhile, Schira will become the lead assistant coach on a temporary basis.
The reason on why he will be taking on a smaller role, is because he has become the BU’s Acting University Librarian.
Schira has led the Bobcats to four straight Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference Final four appearances.
Meanwhile, Haddow will remain the full-time employee of the City of Brandon as he takes over the head coaching duties.
The season gets underway on September 8 as the Bobcats welcome the Providence Pilots to the Healthy Living Centre.
