Madison, WI (CKLQ) – Virden native Wyatt Kalynuk has been named the next Captain of the Wisconsin Badgers.
Kalynuk, a former Oil Capital who is entering his third season with the Badgers was named team MVP this past season.
In back to back season, he has registered at least 25 points and led the NCAA with 116 shots on goal.
The Philadelphia Flyer draft pick was recently named to the Big 10 all-star team.
