Dauphin, MB (CKLQ) – Kelly Johnson and Riley Buller scored in the third period to lead the Dauphin Kings to a 2-1 victory over the Virden Oil Capitals.
The Kings won after losing to the Waywayseecappo Wolverines on Friday.
It was the last game of the 2018 portion of the schedule for both teams.
Dauphin also moved within four points of the Oil Capitals for firth place in the MJHL, and is currently tied for 6th with the Winnipeg Blues.
Meanwhile in Portage, the Terriers beat the Neepawa Natives 5-0.
Joey Moffat scored two goals in the win, while Nathan Moore got the shutout.
Neepawa is last in the league with 21 points, and is seven points back from 10th in the league.
