Oak Lake, MB (CKLQ) - A lobby group in southwestern Manitoba is getting closer in helping create a solution to ban or limit night hunting in the province.

RM of Sifton Councillor Scott Phillips says they've been working with the Manitoba Government to limit night hunting, especially in the Westman area from Swan River all the way to the United States Border.

"All parties have come to the table," said Sifton, "We don't want to make anyone mad, we just want to make the area safe."
