Brandon, MB (CKLQ) - Washroom renovations, new stores, and a new walk way are all part of the plans for the summer season at the Shoppers Mall.
Starting on July 3, there will be some construction in and around the mall, with all of it scheduled to wrap up by the end of the year, preferably by the Christmas season.
There will be an extensive upgrade to the Food Court washrooms and common area.
The renovations include the men's and women's washrooms, the family and handicapped washrooms, and the parenting room and washroom hallway.
The construction is set to start on July 3 and is expected to be completed by October.
Meanwhile, by mid-August, there is expected to be an interior entrance to the Sobeys Extra store.
It will allow shoppers to walk to the store from inside the mall, without stepping foot outdoors.
There will also be a new store coming the Mall's way, as the popular lingerie retailer La Vie en Rose will have a store onsite.
It is expected to open in time for Christmas.
The future East Side Mario's restaurant is close to being completed, with an opening date in late July or early August.
