Road goes to down to single lane traffic

Brandon, MB (CKLQ) - City of Brandon officials are advising residents to slow down on Stickney Avenue, as a portion of the road has been reduced to a single lane road.

Public Works says there are crews dealing with water and sewer repair in the area, just west of the Stickney Avenue, 17th Street North intersection.

Officials say it will take a day or two before asphalt is put in to cover a hole at the site.

On each side of the construction site, there is a sign telling drivers that they are about to come to a single lane, and vehicles will have to take turns when going past the site.
