Neepawa, MB (CKLQ) – After the opening week games, the Neepawa Natives find themselves near the top of the first Canadian junior Hockey League rankings.
Five MJHL teams are on the Top 20 list which is released weekly. Neepawa is fifth in the country, and the highest MJHL team, only below, the Pentiction Vees (BCHL), Fort McMurray Oil Barons (AJHL), Melfort Mustangs (SJHL), and Okotoks Oilers (AJHL).
The Virden Oil Capitals also find themselves in the Top 20, sitting in 15th place.
Neepawa and Virden were among the five teams in the league to start the season 2-0-0-0. Others were OCN, Portage and Steinbach.
