Sign part of town's history

Fannystelle, MB (CKLQ) - A historic sign in the town of Fannystelle is missing and the RCMP are looking for more information.

RCMP say they were notified of the missing 5 foot tall neon business sign - attached to the Stevens Lumber building - in early January.

Officers believe suspects used a bucket truck and power tools to remove it.

The sign has the word "Case" on it.

"This sign has been a part of the Stevens family for 67 years and is considered priceless to them" said Sgt. Paul Manaigre of the Manitoba RCMP.

"It is considered part of their family history and of the town's history."

If anyone has information about the theft, contact the RCMP or Manitoba Crime Stoppers.
