Performances throughout the afternoon and evening

Brandon, MB (CKLQ) - Art and culture will be on display in downtown Brandon Saturday and evening for Nuit Blanche.

Many businesses will turn into an exhibition for music and art.

Co-curator Leanne Zacharias says it's a sight to see.

"The gallery is completely transformed, by installations and interactivity." said Zacharias.

She mentions there may be performances in stairwells, closets, around the Art Gallery of Southwestern Manitoba from 6pm to midnight.

From noon to 6pm, numerous locations around downtown will also take part.

"It's an opportunity to connect the performers in our community with the businesses. They will be benefiting by playing in the businesses, but hopefully the businesses benefit as well." said Zacharias.
