RCMP capture suspects in Manitoba's latest homicide

Names won't be released as charges are still pending


After attempting to evade police, two suspects in a homicide are now in custody.

A Friday night stabbing incident in Gilbert Plains Manitoba became a homicide case when officers arrived to find a man dead at the scene.

The man was a victim of stab wounds.

The suspects, a man and a woman both described as indigenous, are believed to have been attempting to steal vehicles in an effort to flee the area.

Dauphin RCMP put out a warning via media that the two were considered dangerous and not to be approached. - 

Late Sunday night RCMP reported a 39-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman in relation to the ongoing homicide investigation remain in custody.

RCMP will not be releasing names of the suspects as charges have not been laid.
