Is your child constantly reviewing your stats: your dinner save percentage? your average time in the bathroom?
Have they listened to Q Country's Branden Crowe call the Wheat Kings' play-by-play - or maybe watched Don Cherry ramble and said "I wanna do that!"? Well, you might have a sports reporter in the family.
Good news - the Westoba Wheat Kings Jr. Reporters contest is back.
Brandon Wheat Kings Director of Business and Sponsorships Rick Dillabough says "We've teamed up with Westoba Credit Union to try to find two worthy junior reporter candidates in Western Manitoba. Westoba will be at the Wheat Kings' pre-season game this Friday, and there will be an open audition."
He says the contest is open to kids aged 5 to 12.
Stacie Bourgeois, Director of Marketing and Community Relations at Westoba Credit Union, says they have had a child as young as five enter and "it's adorable."
To enter, Bourgeois says all you need to do is submit a one-minute video of your child showcasing their interviewing skills on the company's website. (Check the link below)
The contest closes October 18th.
