Brandon, MB (CKLQ) – Close to 200 job seekers showed up at Andrews Field this past weekend for the first ever Wheat City Whiskey Jacks job fair.
General Manager Ray Walker says it was exciting to see so much interest in the club.
"We are just blown away by the interest and quality of applicants," said Walker.
The team plans to have their staff in place by May 1st in preparation for the home opener May 28th vs Souris Valley Sabre Dogs.
"We are looking to fill approximately 25 paid game day positions," Walker said.
The team is still in need of about 15 billet families for the players who hail from various parts of North America.
