Wheat Kings win dramatic Game 2

Brandon, MB (CKLQ) – The Brandon AAA Midget Wheat Kings evened their series with the Winnipeg Wild after a dramatic win.
Cole Jordan scored with 1:24 remaining in the third period to give the Wheat Kings a 3-2 win at the Sportsplex on Saturday.
Before that, the game was a back and forth affair with Brandon and Winnipeg trading goal for the first two periods. 
The Wheat Kings scored both of their goal in the first two periods on the powerplay, and were 2 for 4 on the man advantage for the game.
Mitch Thiessen and Tanner Morrison scored for Brandon, while Riley Zimmerman and Tyson Smith scored for the Wild.
Game 3 is on Monday at Winnipeg, but the Brandon win guarantees a Game 4 at the Sportsplex, that will be played on Wednesday.
